New War memorial

On the 10th November Linda Brockbank unveiled a new
Parish War Memorial at Saint John's Church

On the 10th of November, the new Parish War Memorial
was unveiled and dedicated at bentham Parish Church,
( Saint John the Baptist ).

The memorial unites the fallen of High and
Low Bentham from World War One,
and World War Two.
It was a wonderful packed service,
where stories of men from
Bentham were movingly told.
